Corporation Releases List Of '10 Worst Toys'
List Names Toys With Potential To Cause Harm To Kids

World Against Toys Causing Harm, Inc. (W.A.T.C.H.), a Massachusetts charitable nonprofit corporation, has released its annual "10 Worst Toys" list.

The list identifies toys with the potential to cause childhood injuries, and even death, according to the company.

The following are the toys nominated for 2003:

-Stats Bounce Jump Around: has the potential for drowning, paralysis or other serious injuries.


-Yo Yo Water Ball and Yo Yo Squeeze Toy: has the potential for strangulation injuries.


-Supremo Slingshots: has potential for eye injuries.


-Nickelodeon Gooze -- Super Scented Soda Fountain: has potential for allergic reaction and ingestion injuries.


-Air Hogs -- Sky Commander Helicopter: has potential for eye injuries.


-Ribbets the Rhythm Frog :has potential for ingestion and choking injuries.


-Traditional Wooden Fire Engine Pull Along Toy: has potential for ingestion and choking injuries.


-Green Orbit Extending Super Spyperiscope: has potential for eye injuries.


-Imagability -- Wedgits Starter Set: has potential for blunt impact and puncture injuries.


-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Electronic Michelangelo's Nunchukus: has potential for blunt impact injuries.
