"4Kids Entertainment, Inc. will unveil “DVDouble Shot,” a new line of value-priced DVDs, culled from such 4Kids Entertainment television series as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Winx Club, Sonic X, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Kirby: Right Back at Ya!.




Each DVD will feature two of the most memorable episodes, hand-picked by the series’ original producers and writers, with input from the show’s most devoted fans. “DVDouble Shots” will be offered in slimray packaging with an enticing packaging design, retailing for $3.99 to $4.99 (SRP) each."

TMNT II was the best.. so i'd prolly better not get the lil' disc-pack cuz i'd just use it as a Big Gulp coaster..)

After a relatively TMNT-saned (unless you count Kevin Eastman and the Heavy Metal crew.. and the TMNT fan friends..) comic-con.. the nil' Turtle presence was depressing. However.. upon my return..just a flood of new TMNT movie shtuffs and things ploppin' into view !! Let's break the sewer cover open n' get caught up.. shall we !?

Weinstein & WB Team on Ninja Turtles

The Weinstein Company and Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that they will join forces to distribute the first all-CG-animated movie in the long and phenomenally successful history of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise. The announcement was made today by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Harvey Weinstein of The Weinstein Company. The as-yet-untitled picture will be released early in 2007.

We've been getting mail regarding the showing of the TMNT movie trailer at this year's San Diego Comic Con. As it turns out, Imagi is not sure yet whether or not they will show the trailer at San Diego, so only time will tell if it happens or not. Definitely do not go to the show with the sole intent of seeing the trailer, as it might not be there




We'll see what happens.. i leave for San Diego Wensday ..so ..8/

Last night ..at Wal-mart.. doing my usual toy cruise..



There were stacks of TMNT Bonus packs on the pegs. Figure 2 packs in the older style packaging that has been around scince the TMNT toy line came out in late 2002 ..but on the same card (actually making one large card). The assortments included older figs : Scuba gear,Space Hoppin' TMNTs, Fighting gear, regular TMNTs,assorted villians & Turtle allies. Again while the assortment is older.. the price was the same as one regualr figure ;..under 6 bucks !! Baisically ..



Two figures for the price of one !!



I don't know if thiis is a Wal-mart exclusive..whatever the case.. if you missed some of the earlier figures from the past couple years.. this would be a great bargain and chance to catch up on your Turtle collection !!

Sorry folks, on a second hard look it appears as if I spoke to early, the TMNT won't be on the 5:00 PM timeslot on Cartoon Network according to official TV listings. It appears as though Cartoon Network's online schedule is having a couple of glitches for the 4th and 5th of July, reposting older schedules or something. So keep those letters coming...
