-- Regarding TMNT director Kevin Munroe..::

" ..Cribbed from latinoreviews.com and Bloody-Disgusting, with a tip of the turtle hat to KM:

Bloody-Disgusting learned exclusively this afternoon that TMNT director Kevin Munroe has officially signed on to direct DYLAN DOG, the adaptation of the Italian comic book brought here to the US by Dark Horse Comics. In addition, we were also informed that Brandon Routh (Superman) has now officially signed on to topline, after being previously reported as in talks. In case you were wondering, this does in fact mean that Munroe will NOT be directing GATCHAMAN for the Weinstein Company. Dylan Dog is a "penniless nightmare investigator" who defies the whole preceding horror tradition with a vein of surrealism and an anti-bourgeois rhetoric. The true monsters in many of these stories are human beings. Shooting begins this July in Toronto. .. .. "

-- Regarding the UK's Titatan TMNT comic Magazne ::

"Sad news to report. With the (unlucky) 13th issue, Titan will be ceasing publication of its monthly TMNT comic magazine. I'd like to publically thank editor Ned Hartley and his crew for doing such an outstanding job with the magazine, an always entertaining and informative read with great graphic sensibility. Thank you, Ned!"
