It's a typical day in Dogpatch, USA...

Been nothing but boring here as usual. Sunny weather, nice out... but nowhere to go and no one to go with. Vanessa's been at school and work a lot... and I've been working as much as usual. Which doesn't allow for much time for recreation.

Last week, I went to watch Vanessa sing at Lab, but it turns out it was cancelled due to lack of people who signed up to perform. So, we took advantage of my trip out to Edinburg as best we could..... we went out to eat hamburgers. :P ... Well, it was a nice local burger joint. My burger looked EXACTLY like a Krabby Patty.

I had a good time yesterday too.... I got to hook up with Silly Boy Blue and a couple of our friends from college. They came all the way over here to have lunch with me... Awwwwwww. Well, anyway, we had lunch and talked and had a few laughs... as usual. We're gonna meet up again on Saturday -- we're gonna do some stuff over in McAllen or something. So I need to request the day off.

On Wednesday, Vanessa and I are going to head out to the beach. It should be in high 70s... not as warm as it's been lately. But still should be sunny. ............... and the first wave of Spring Break eye-candy should be there. Wooo.

Speaking of eye-candy. There was a beautiful specimen sitting across from me at Luby's today.... Yeah, I know you're thinking it's some old white geezer eating his meal directly from the cafeteria tray........... But actually, it was this young, green-eyed, curly blonde-haired "hottie" from Mexico. Woo... easy on the eyes.. ::faints::
