ACK! Where did I disappear to???
Well, it all started when Tokka came to visit... That was the best time I've had in a lonnnng time. He was here for a little over a week, and we did some really cool stuff... including being attacked by aliens from Mars at the beach.... O_O
Anyway, I miss him like hell. He's great to have around, even if he rags on me all the time whenever my sisters are around... :P
So, yeah, after Tokk left.... dum dum DUUUMMMMM ... I got sick again!!! Can you believe it?? I haven't been completely well since LAST YEAR!! Literally. I thought I could beat it on my own, but I was wrong. So I went to the doctor today... They took some blood and gave me a shot on the ass. ........ err... Hmm. Anyhoo.
I haven't felt that much better since they gave me that "miracle injection that will make you feel SOOO much better!!" And I still had to come into work today. We had a meeting about all the changes here in the graphics department. Lucky me... I get a whole buttload more work, like basically working TWO jobs... for the same pay!! Well, here's the deal. The big boss man, said that since we haven't been evaluated yet, he'll work on that next and get us some more money..... mmhmm. Prolly a $.50 raise, when logically I should be making double what I make now!! :P Soo unfair.
I've really only wanted to sleep today, but I took Saturday and Sunday off, plus tomorrow and Wednesday are my off-days anyway... So I had to work at least ONE day this pay period!! Speaking of which... I forgot to turn in my time card last night. If my boss wasn't so thoughtful, I wouldn't be getting paid on Wednesday... And that's the check that has our quarterly bonus on it!
Oh yeah.... Our quarterly bonus = $200 ... the quarterly bonus for our sister paper = $1500 ... the bonus for our other sister paper = $2000!!! Grrr. I'm at the wrong paper!!
Back to my health... I dunno. They said I tested negative for strep, I have clean lungs, ear pressure is fine, blood pressure is normal, heart rate is normal, my tonsils aren't even THAT irritated (nevermind the searing pain everytime I swallow). So, really there should be nothing wrong with me. So they drew blood to test it out, and said that if my symptoms persist, I should get a chest x-ray done on Friday. UGH!!! I so hope this medicine works.
Oh yeah... to those of just getting used to my blonde hair, sorry... I dyed it again. Now, It's "rubine" Punky Colour #1424. It looks really cool... although some people who loved the blonde really don't like it too much. Too weird for them? Whatever.
