..stupid ideals..

I really despise local newscasts.... Who doesn't, though, right?

This woman, whose two sons were shot to death along with 4 others, while she was tied up in the other room barely found the strength to speak today.... She was so overwhelmed yesterday that she couldn't help police without breaking down. And still, the local cbs affiliate sent TWO reporters to bombard her with questions the police could easily answer.

Did the cinnamon in my toast crunch go bad? I made some Cinnamon Toast Crunch for dinner tonight.... It kinda tasted like Raid. Bleh.

So Tokka arrives tonight. I dunno if he told anyone that knows us from the TMNT fandom that he was coming down from Colorado for a visit... But, well, now I am. :D

It's gonna be great. I'm gonna take him to the beach, zoo, Mexico, and a couple of the neighboring towns... maybe show him around this town a little. Okay, so I know that's lame. This place is obviously a LOT less entertaining than Colorado Springs, but Tokk deserves a vacation. And I'm looking forward to helping him with that.

I spent the afternoon cleaning house a bit, and intermittantly watching soaps. I felt like a housewife... sitting in my yellow rubber gloves, broom in hand and apron tied around my waist. Oooo... Sonny's gotta go to South America to find the killer of the bad guy and the prime witness to the murder... But meanwhile, Jacks is having Jason framed and Brenda committed (so she can plea temporary insanity)... Poor Jason's always getting caught up in things. Oh and Carly SLAPPED Alexis!! Can you believe that? The bitch... I love her.

So it's been about 10 months since I've seen an episode of General Hospital. And I'm already caught up on everything. Hooboy.

Anyway, I hope the next 3 and a half hours fly by... I can't wait till Tokk gets here!! :D
