This Tuesday, I will be aiding Vanessa's aunt/choir director in choosing soloists for the Christmas masses. I've heard some of these people sing... and it isn't pretty. I'm dreading having to make the decision of who to choose. I have no doubt in my mind that Vanessa is one of the best singers in the choir, and I will have no problem voting for her... Unfortunately, people will be suspecting that I'm voting for her just because I'm her friend. I don't WANT to vote for her for every song, but unless these people can prove that they are worthy, confident singers, then that's just what I'll end up doing. For all I know, I'll be pleasantly surprised, and I'll have a hard time choosing which singer to vote for, and an easy time not voting for Vanessa. >:p
Stephen comes in on Wednesday, and we are planning to take him to see Harry Potter. He might've already seen it, but who cares... I wanna see it again anyway! I hope the three of us can spend a lot of time together... It's been forever since we've all just hung out. Vanessa hasn't been able to make either of the two most recent trips up to Dallas that I have, and I wasn't able to hang out much the last time Stephen came down. I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner with Stephen's family, and considering that my family will probably be eating while I'm at work, I might be able to take them up on the offer.
Well, I just talked to my sister. She said that we were supposed to be going to my aunt's on Thanksgiving then to my Gramma's. Problem is, we'll be eating at 2... I come to work at 4 and there won't be much time between lunch and work to visit my gramma.... That sucks because I haven't seen her in ages. I think the last time I saw her was the week before Halloween. I didn't even go to either Mass for my Grampa's anniversary of death. Well, I'll try to get there... My gramma's feelings get easily hurt, and she thinks everyone hates her when they don't visit her often.
Well, then... I'll see what happens.
