I also helped out on the new season of TMNT, which will be coming out sometime this month. I worked on the style guide and also did some illustration work for the show intro. Hey TokKA, I just liked to share with you this link because I thought that maybe some of TMNT Fans or maybe someone you know at Mirage (like Steve Murphy) might find this funny or amusing.
..Controversial Icelandic rapper Bent recently released the song "1, 2 & Jesus" which describes his fall to atheism. ..
But the first verse is very interesting to note, as it's all about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
He raps about how he wanted the TMNT Action Figures, the T-Shirts (and he's wearing one in the video) as well as the popular Nintendo games from Konami.
He then says that he used to pray to Jesus and then Santa, but when neither gave him his wishes, he moved to atheism.
Wanted to share with you the video just to show you that TMNT are still making headline news in various places.

Yes, it is true. Although the CGI film did well enough to warrent a sequel, there has been much talk between Imagi and Warners to do a better "re-invention" (newest Hollywood buzzword) of the TMNT's, in a live action film--like what was done with Batman. Back to basics, back to the origin and the intro of the Shredder, etc...there have been talks, trips to Northampton to talk to Mr Laird, and discussions with the original "first" TMNT film director Steve Barron to come back and do it right--but no official word yet...will keep you posted.
