My life lately

I hope you're all doing well. It's been over a year since I posted here and I guess I went through a period of being too busy to check up on you guys here. As for me, I've been doing pretty good. I'm finishing up a summer course -- a reading class -- in the next few days and mostly just enjoying life, enjoying the good things in it. Excuse me if I rant here, but I've been listening to artists such as Gang Starr, Glassjaw, and Pulse Ultra. Even involved with my church's college group, which is a blessing. Speaking of college, I've been going to community college since fall of last year. It's not bad, but the work load isn't exactly what I had in mind. I am mostly focusing on general ed and hoping to transfer to some sort of four-year or vocational school in due time to focus on an art career of some sort, either animation or illustration/drawing by hand. I don't have a (summer) job, but I am making due with the money I have. In a way, I guess I've been keeping contact with you guys. I keep up with tOkKa, Jeff, and Hero on Facebook to see what they're up to. I even keep up with the Mikey's TMNT page on there; furthermore, Hero hit me up recently on Facebook to pray for him and he didn't what needed prayer for exactly, but I'm keepin' him in my prayers anyway. If you're reading this at the moment, brother, just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you. If anyone would like to add me on Facebook, send me a message on here and I'll send you the link to my profile. I wouldn't mind keeping contact with you guys, especially if I don't end up posting here often. And my summer's not over yet -- I got a camping trip at the end of August to look forward to.

As some of you may know, I turned twenty this year. I don't drive yet, but that will be worked out. My grandma that passed away years ago -- well, her car's in Texas -- and so my mom's gonna somehow bring the car to where I live in California, have it fixed, and then get a license and drive it.

A guy I knew from middle school and high school passed away recently and I do have a fair share of memories of him. I can't say I knew him as well as some people did, but my prayers still go out to his family. I believe he was into TMNT as well.

So I guess there's a lot going on in my life, which I'm mostly approaching with an attitude of positivity and patience. I love you guys, I missed y'all, I hope to meet y'all some day, and I figured why not post here again. I'm not dead -- I just took a vacation.

Glad to hear from you, C14. I'm glad things are going well in your life. Sorry about your friend who passed away. My condolences to you and his family. I didn't know anything was wrong with Hero, but I'll keep him in my thoughts and keep my fingers crossed for him. Nice hearing from you.

Glad to read the summary of your summer there C14. Thanks for giving me a shout-out too. Life is still teabagging me at the moment but I am hanging in there. Would be cool to start coming back here more often and I speak for the both of us James
