The theater cleared
of mice, the HoloPet and Dimensional
Duplicator turned off. Once the main lights come
on again, we notice
that Donatello has returned. His HoverPod flies
around the stage once
more as Chan, Jade, Ninjara, Raphael, Leonardo,
Michaelangelo and Black
look on amused at this shrinky-dink zooming around
like a fly or bee.
CAPTAIN BLACK
Donnie, care to drop in and join us?
DONATELLO
Don't worry, this baby stops on a dime. Anybody
got a dime? <He
flies off-stage again> OK, get it working.
Hit it!
Section 13 assistants turn the shrinking laser
on him. The
wierd sound effects come behind the stage a loud
humming noise growing
louder and louder then followed by brilliant flash
of light and
crackling-popping noise, then silence. The other
3 turtles, Jade,
Jackie and Ninjara rush towards backstage yelling
for their friend.
JADE
Donatello!
JACKIE CHAN
You need some help?
LEONARDO
Brother?
RAPHAEL
You OK in there?
MICHAELANGELO
Yo dude!
NINJARA
Donnie? Where are you.
Just then the purple-masked turtle emerges into
view, stumbling
& staggering about for a second or two due
to the after-effects of the
laser restoring him back to normal size as he
regains his senses.
DONATELLO
Hey Lucy, I'm home! <Mimics Ricky Ricardo>
CAPTAIN BLACK
Is he all right? <Looks concerned>
LEONARDO
He's OK, he's back to normal.
CAPTAIN BLACK <Relieved>
That will do, for now.
DONATELLO
We're here.
JADE <Asks him>
Still got some kinks?
DONATELLO
Got to get a couple kinks out of that thing, otherwise
it flies
beautiful. <Then he speaks to the crowd>
Oh, ah, sorry for the delay
everybody, but strange things can happen when
you are the size of a
cocktail weenie. Just ask my brothers, they'll
tell you about it.
This makes Leo, Mike, Ralph & Ninjara to frown
or glower at him,
arms folded, hands on hips.
NINJARA
Do we have to go through that nightmare again?
MICHAELANGELO
That was the worst day of my life!
LEONARDO
Shrunk to shrinky-dinky size and lost in the backyard
of Chan's
uncle's pawnshop.
RAPHAEL
But we did make it safely back to the house and
Don saved us by
reversing the process to restore us to normal
size.
JADE
I remember that too.
JACKIE CHAN
Good grief, <Rolls eyes> I hope it dosen't
happen again.
CAPTAIN BLACK
Don, maybe this isn't a good day to demostrate
the shrinking
laser.
DONATELLO
Oh nonsense, it's a great day for it. <Thinks
quickly> Now what
were we going to shrink?
CRYSTAL
Bring out the family.
AMBER
Huh, what boss?
LARA CROFT
You gotta be kidding me!
CAPTAIN BLACK
The family?!
Realizing the captain and others do not understand
Donnie
quickly explains what he really intends to do
with his machine.
DONATELLO
Oh, no-no-no, just their luggage.
A volunteer family steps onto stage to deposit
their carry-on
bags, suitcases, backpacks, etc.
DONATELLO <Continues>
You see, that's the amount of luggage that the
average family
takes on vacation. But now, with the help of my
new, more powerful
shrinking laser, all that luggage is going to
fit right comfortably in
the palm of my hand.
Then he begins making last minute calculations
on the control
panel of the laser before activating the START
button. Suddenly the
machine as if it has a mind of its own tips, lifting
Donnie off the
ground taking him completely by suprise. It begins
to spin around,
blasting holes in the walls and scattering the
Section 13 workers.
DONATELLO
WHOA!
JACKIE CHAN
Don?
CAPTAIN BLACK
What's going on?
DONATELLO
Everything's under control here.
CAPTAIN BLACK
Are you sure?
DONATELLO
Oh yeah. I just have to reach the...<Laser
stings him> ow, oh!
CAPTAIN BLACK <Angry>
I'm trying to give a demostration here, Donatello.
NINJARA
Don! Need some help?
DONATELLO
Yeah samauri, there's a STOP button over here.
CAPTAIN BLACK
Turn it off...
JADE <Also helps>
Which one?
CAPTAIN BLACK
And we'll do something else.
DONATELLO
The blue one.
NINJARA
They're all blue!
LEONARDO
Oh great, what now?
DONATELLO
Darn it! I should have painted them in rainbow
colors.
MICHAELANGELO
Too late now dude.
RAPHAEL
Here we go again.
The laser hits one of the side walls of the stage,
causing
sparks and smoke to go off. Black stands in front
of the crowd
reminding them to make sure their safety goggles
are on. He dosen't
notice however that the machine is aimed directly
at his backside.
CAPTAIN BLACK
Please make sure that you have your safety goggles
firmly
secured on your forehead.
NINJARA <Looks up, screams>
Captain! Look out!
JACKIE CHAN
Behind you, get out of the way!
CAPTAIN BLACK
Huh? <Turns> NOOOOOOOOO! <Shields face
with hands>
Both Chan and Ninjara run towards the captain,
shoulder-tackling
him to the floor of the stage and out of harm's
way. Unfortunately both
are not fast enough to get clear themselves before
the machine kicks in
and fires the beam that hits the human stuntman
and vixen samauri
surrounding them and the audience with a glowing
blue-white aura of
crackling energy. The entire theater begins to
SHRINK!
