According to the cartoon, this
is how the character Leatherhead was born:
This Cajun guy is out huntin' gators
in the Florida Everglades with his son.
Little does he know that Ol' Leatherhead
"the biggest gator that ever got born" is hunting HIM
too...
The inevitable happens, causing the human/animal
interaction that is necessary for the coming radioactive mutation.
Soon, the same mutagen that Krang dumped
in the swamp,
and that transformed the Punk Frogs, got to good Ol' Leatherhead.
Thus was born the Terror of the
Swamp...
Yes... Leatherhead, another victim
of the animated series. Don't get me wrong, I loved the cartoon,
but they had this animosity toward the characters that made up the
Mutanimals; Leatherhead was not the only one to be a "bad guy."
Though, he was a mighty
bad guy, alright. He made the Frogs carry him around on a cot, snagged
the Turtles in a net, snookered everyone into sitting in quick sand,
and he caused April's hair to mess up (this episode was particularly
anti-feminist)!
I'm not too sure how they beat
this guy because my sister recorded MTV videos over the last part....
But I have a feeling that he was left
to be dealt with by the Frogs....
