Featuring the work of local artists, produced from reclaimed materials, each targeting one of the many dilemmas weakening our community. The …state of affairs in Colorado Springs is a constant topic of discussion all over the city, and Rubbish hopes to present imagery that will stay in the collective mind of the citizens of 80903 and beyond…

TONIGHT!!! join us for the opening of BUDGET CUTS- featuring THE LOST CITY by spika, and works by stan baldwin, gloria lynch, logan bartlett, juanita canzoneri, tokka, adam leech, nethery wylie, joseph fernandez, lorenzo white, bradley flora, josh kennard, erin jones and lorelei beckstrom!

OPEN @ 5:30 pm. Live Music from The Ghost of Micheal Clark, Goodnight Stranger, and Eavesdrop beginning at 7:30

Closing reception will be Friday, April 2 from 5:30 to 11:00pm with music from Megan LeFurge, John Strelec, and The Spaghetti Harvest @ 7:30

Local illustrator and urbanist J. David Thorpe will be giving a talk on the why, what, and how of the Colorado Springs infrastructure on Sunday, March 14th @ 3pm.

Twenty-oh-Nine .

Rubbish Gallery has been showing and supporting emerging artist in the Pike’s Peak region for over four years.
Our aim this holiday season is to not only provide small and affordable art to give as a gift, but to take it one step further
and present a product that can be sold for less than the price of dinner and a movie.
Twenty-Oh-Nine is a collection of creations from local artists selling for $20.09.

Doors open this Friday Dec 11 at 5:17 PM, all art will be sold off the wall on a first come first serve basis.
All original artwork by local artists. Over 40 different artist’s made over 200 pieces of art for this years show. Give the gift of locally made art this year. ( *6 pieces by tOkKa will be present / 2 TMNT )

Our musical line up for our opening on Friday, December 11th will include DJ Juicebox, Andy Tanner, and Jackie Bond.

On Saturday, December 12, things are going to get dancey with Highered Intellegence, Gaia Experiment, and from Boulder, Sunshine.

“Ryan Brown’s alma mater, Norwayne High School in Creston, Ohio is selling an exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt to benefit their arts programs. The shirts are also available at the middle school in Creston, and two elementary schools, one in Sterling and one in Burbank. Their mascot is the Bobcat hence the phrase “I love being a Bobcat” on the shirt.”

but if by chance in hell or high water you are able to attend this freeky show and are in the Southern Colorado area by all means stop in, see the geeks ( and one spiky freek ) as there will be plenty of TMNT surprises and then some in the horror show of horrors that’s actually pretty nice !!
